A young 25 years old boy leaves Paris to go to Barcelona to complete his studies; there he shares a chaotic and pleasant flat with other guys coming from the whole Europe . After have lived for one year in this new country and after have had this unique and fantastic experience, he decides to follow his dream: become a writer.

The movie of Cédric Klapisch, well-played by Romain Duris (Xavier) and Audrey Tautou (Martine), passes the desire, typical of young men, to travel and do new experiences.
It’s very interesting because it shows the community life in an immediate way: it displays teenager’s qualities, bad habits and life style.
